The OPIA Education Committee is working with governments to ensure the viability of the printing industry's workforce for years to come. This involves training needs assessments as well as an industry-wide analysis that is presented to various governments and associated agencies in the preparation and identification of appropriate programs to keep the printing industry's workforce competitive at home and internationally.
The Human Resource Services Committee investigates and maintains an accurate record of training programs that will assist printing companies to keep their workforce current and competitive. An accounting of the various institutions and consultants who offer relevant training is an essential tool for the OPIA membership in order to know where the best resources for training can be found. |
